So this was the WOD for Friday
Three rounds for time of:
24" Box jump, 50 reps
185 pound Deadlift, 21 reps
30 Pull-ups
Time 26:06
My grip was SHOT! I had to scale down the deadlifts to 145lbs as 185 is about my max(205) and there is no way I would have been able to complete them. However, doing deads and then pullups taxed my forearms and my grip, half way thru the second round my left hand kept sliding of the bar both for the deads and the pullups. I thought box jumps would be easy, yea right. Half way thru the second round I had to transition to step ups, which after talking to Josh is the same work as the jump just not explosive. I started to hit my toes on the front of the weights (I made two stacks of 4 25lb weights side by side on a bench) and thought I might fall on my face. I had two goals for this WOD less than 30min and complete all deadlifts, which I did both. After completing this WOD I was not as winded as I usually am, however, I could not go any harder as my muscles would not allow me to. I can honestly say I am a CrossFit addict!!!
