So I finally made my rings. It was actually fun and not that hard after reading how everyone else made theirs and learning from the mistakes they posted. The only thing I wish I would of done was cut the length a little longer, don't get me wrong the turned out great just a personal (perfectionist) thing. The only thing left is to purchase the straps. Well I have not posted for Friday's WOD
For time:
100 squats
2 muscle-ups
80 squats
4 muscle-ups
60 squats
6 muscle-ups
40 squats
8 muscle-ups
20 squats
10 muscle-ups
I obviously substitued for muscle ups as I did not have my rings which is 3 pullups/dips for each muscle up, time was 29:42. As Josh mentioned in one of his posts I need to get past the mental block that tells me to take a break as I feel that is what hurts my times. I am looking forward to tomorrows WOD, but I need to find out how to keep the equipment I am using open so other members do not use them, which at times is a hassle but well worth it. I made a goal for myself this week any WOD's that are for time I am going to take the least amount of breaks as I can, even if I have to meet Pukie!!! I need to get past this hurdle and I feel the only way to do that is to live in that state of chaos that these WOD's bring to me. Wish me luck!!
