For time:
225 pound Deadlift, 21 reps
Run 800 meters
225 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
Run 800 meters
225 pound Deadlift, 9 reps
Run 800 meters
I had to use 200# instead of the Rx'd weight of 225# and I am glad I did. The first round felt pretty good and I was actually surprised with myself, broken into 11-10. The funny thing was the damn 800M after the deads, it is fun to try and run when your hamstrings are on fire as well as your lower back, difficult to stay stable. Round 2 8-7. Round 3 all 9 unbroken. I realized that once I was able to get the weight off of the floor I could keep my rhythmn pretty well, it is just getting that damn weight OFF of the floor that was the hard part. I was very pleased with my deadlifts today. I thought I would have a harder time and the weight at 200# was perfect as the last three on round 3 were a bear. If I had tried 225# I would have been very frustrated with my performance. 21:20
