Here is what the new boxes look like. This is the 24". You can imagine what the 20 and 30 inch look like. I'm not sure about the rug/carpet on top, it looks good, but we'll see if it holds up and is worth it.

Our car is in the shop getting a new transmission (ouch $$$) so gym trips are more difficult. I decided that with these new boxes, I should use them.

4 rounds for time of:

400m

15 pull ups

20 jumps at 24" box

13:22 - all unbroken. I refused to stop or break up anything. I need to work on this and I made it. My 400 times started at 1:20 and fell to 2:05. Those boxes tore up my quads, but I never stopped. This was a mental victory.

I ended with 90 seconds of cumulative L sits on paralletes (spelling?). 9 sets of 10 seconds. I need to work on my gymnastic movements and body weight skills. I will add in some weekly sets of DL and presses to break through some barriers, but my focus is on body weight movements. Unfortunately, the car is still in the shop, so tomorrow's WoD will be a 6 mile time trial home from work at 5pm (warm up is 6 mile ride to work at 6:30am). Next week is at the Coronado Crossfit, so some of the heavy lifts may have to wait as I want to follow their lead for the WoDs. After the ride tomorrow, I'll work on handstands and negative HSPU.
