That Sucked!

There was nothing enjoyable about that WoD:
Four rounds for time of:
100 ft Walking lunge, carrying 30 pound dumbbells
24 inch Box Jump, 30 reps
30 pound Weighted pull-ups, 20 reps
25:25 non-Rx
5:48,6:10,6:08,7:28

I used 25lb dumbells because that's all I have at home. I tried the DBs for pullups, but I couldn't get it to stay put at my ankles and I couldn't kip at all, making it really tough to get any pullups. I reverted to all dead hang pullups for this one. I would have love to use a vest and do kips and go for it as Rx, but I always have problems with the "DB in the ankles" concept. The jumps after lunges were crazy tough, but I managed to make it without any step-ups.

tonight, I'll try to do the push Jerk 5x3 WoD. We'll see if i have the time or energy.
