The wallball is a weakness of mine, and today was no exception. I did the first set unbroken, then struggled to 24 x2 on the second set. I changed my plan from 'no pauses' to 'no drops or long pauses.' This means no waiting to throw the ball, but I was able to basket catch and 1 breath between throws. I realized I was not going to hit all 35 unbroken without pauses if I couldn't get the second set. The HSPU were also broken, as I still struggle with those. I can get as many as 12 unbroken when fresh, but this was anyting but fresh. I did 4,3,4 (i know that is 11, but I was still trying to hit 10 in one set) 10 was not going to happen after 35 wallball. The c2b, pushups and jumping pullups were all unbroken and not as tough as I expected. The wallballs are killer. I think it is all mental. Peter said he can get 100 unbroken, I can get 45-50. I suck. I think I need to add wallball to warm up at least once per week for max rep set. I haven't done a lot of HSPU lately either, so I need to get back on that horse too.
I am really hoping for a heavy lift tomorrow. Not sure I can handle a 5th metcon this week.
