Apparently spending an entire weekend in the bottom of a squat makes for tired legs. today was a version of Nancy and I really felt sore from the amazing amount of squats and leg work we did at the Level 1 Cert.
Five rounds for time of:
95 pound Snatch, 3 reps
95 pound Overhead squat, 15 reps
Run 400 meters

I struggled on the first set of OHS and it never got better. I wanted to do unbroken sets of OHS for more than the first set, but i broke it into 11/4 and 10/5 for all of the rest of the rounds. The runs are what killed me. I struggled with the lactic burn and fatigue in my legs. My splits were:
Lift - 0:40
Run - 1:42
Lift - 1:45
Run - 1:58
Lift - 1:58
Run - 2:04
Lift - 2:10
Run - 2:07
Lift - 1:58
Run - 1:57
Those runs took too long and I had a hard time getting the lifts in quickly. My legs felt like lead. Interestingly, I felt like I was getting great Oxygen intake as I gasped mid run. Maybe I should train in Flagstaff more often.
