I, too, had shoulder surgery recently (acromioplasty) so overhead lifts are a weakness for me too. 
On the shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1-1-1
135, 135, 140 (fail), 135, 135, 140 (fail) 135
I really wanted a PR, but I just couldn't get past 135. 
pull-ups are also a weakness, so I also did 3 sets in my warm-up and cool down as well as work on the rings.  The rings are great for dynamic strength. 
I still need to confront my weaknesses, but today was progress.
