I did a Wod at crossfit invictus today.  It was very cool.  We started with a dynamic warm up with movement drills and the burgner warm up,  Then some heavy lifting with 5-5-5 push jerk.  I got a PR of 165, even though my lower end still wasn't deep in the catch.  Then, a new movement: the cluster.  A full squat clean, then a thruster from the full depth to lockout overhead.

7:48 was my time.  I was one of only 2-3 guys to do it with Rx weight and there were probably 20 people there.  I also got it done in about 90 seconds faster than the others.  I felt really good about my time, keeping the bar gazing to a minimum.  I won't know how any others did because they don't post their whiteboard, but it was a good time for me. 
Now I have a problem deciding where to go tomorrow.  I loved Invictus, but it will take a bit more work to get there and a ferry fee.  Coronado is more convenient and cheaper, but not the same cool experience.  maybe I'll just look into the Wod in the am and decide.
