Nothing wrong but the WoD

Jason was sure something went wrong with his attempt at Kelly. We thought my previous time was 24 minutes and he did it in 28:39. As I started my second attempt at Kelly, i remembered something critical: last time i got my lap timer messed up on my watch. As a result I MUST have done only 4 rounds. There is NO WAY I did this in 24 minutes last time.
This time: 28:23
This was at the gym, so I set the treadmill at 9 for the first round and dropped it to 8.5 for each of the rest of the rounds. I just let it ran, so no ramp up time needed. I did jumps on the first round, then step-ups on 2-5. I knew my jumps would be slower with more rests needed and I could keep my cycle time up on the step-ups. I would like to do more jumps to gt better at them, but doing 150 in one wod is not the time to work on form. I know I paused a hair too much during the wallballs, but I never stopped moving otherwise. I can't imagine shaving off much time from this WoD.

So Jason, there was nothing wrong with your performance on Kelly, other than the fact that you were slower than me. :-)
I also did a new 5RM of shoulder press at 145. Really psyched about that since I couldn't get 140x3 a couple of weeks ago. No protocol for 15,12,9 since I was training Aubri on the clean. She is doing great and getting better with the movements.
