In Over My Head
I had great plans for my own wod today. After looking back over the archives and seeing the frequent number of times the WoD involved practicing a gymnastics skill, I decided to try that with HSPU today. Unfortunately, I failed to plan accordingly with CFSB. I started with a work up to a new 3rm of 165 for OHS then the 15,12,9 protocol at 105. This was tough, but I really underestimated how much it killed my shoulders. I tried work on parallets first and negatives, then on floor. I didn't get very far. I am getting darn frustrated with lack of progress. Then again, I am letting that frustration lead to less time spent working on it. I need to spend much more time upside down. Tomorrow is the pullup ladder again, per coach. I tried this last week and it sucked. Tomorrow I'll hit it again and go for a PR. Tonight is Hockey.
