400m of burpee broad jumps. I intended to do the bupee mile, but had remembered it taking 20-25 minutes for others. When I compelted 400m in 20:15, I knew I had something wrong. I capped it at a tough 20 minute WoD. Then I came back and checked and realized that the full mile was taking people, on average one hour and 20 minutes or more. I was happy with my split and will, someday, tackle the full mile.

I wanted to do murph, since it had been a while. My prior PR was 40:51 and I did today in 36:40. That is a 10% improvement. I am pretty happy with that, given the major fatigue I felt from yesterday's burpees. My legs and chest were wiped from the 400m burpee workout. Last time I did 10,20,30 cycles and this time I did 5,10,15 cycles to limit rest during pushups. A good call, but pushups still limited my time. My first mile was 6:30ish and the last was an even 8:00. The legs just didn't have it, even for the first run. I should have been closer to 6:00 for the first mile, but all those broad jumps made my legs a bit too fatigued. I wanted sub 35 minutes, but got close. If you got a 6 and 7 minute mile and did 20 rds of cindy in 18 minutes you would get it in 31 minutes. That is a lofty goal, but next time I'll try with a vest and go sub 35.
This was a very tough cycle, starting with the OHS and row WoD at CF coronado, but it spanned 3 different time domains (11 min, 20 min, and 36 min) and was pretty varied in areas of physical tax. I will rest tomorrow and do a light cycle to get ready for the screen test at Fury on Friday.
