I wore my GPS watch on the 5K run at fury today.  When I was done it said 2.99 miles.  WHAT?!  It should say 3.1!  Apparently their course is a shade short.  It ends at the door, so next time I will probably run the 200m sprint distance to get in close to the full distance.  That could add as much as 30 seconds to my total time, but it is a much better guage. 
Regardless, I ran today after having played hockey 9 hours prior.  I felt slow and like I was running through mud.  I was sure I would get a 22 or 23 minute time.  I actually matched my last time PR of 21:06.  That was great.  I am feeling like I am getting back into a groove, but I still haven't done much with high rep body weight stuff in a while.  Hopefully I don't get smoked with that during the competition.
