Yesterday I completed
"Nicole"
Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
Run 400 meters
Max rep Pull-ups
I completed 5 rounds with the following pullups in each round 25, 25, 25, 25, 15. Total of 115 pullups. I'll tell you what, my goal was 25 each round and I was hanging on for dear life at the end to complete 25. I was soo tired after that 5th 400 and slipped off the bar. I did this WOD as my back is still a little bothersome. I'm sure I looked funny running as I could really feel my back working to stabilize myself.
I also took today off from the WOD to rest my back, 2pood KB swings would tear my back up again and I want to keep it healthy as I concentrate on "active hip" exercises, which by the way I think I mastered (Just Kidding) I do feel much better about them and I can really feel the weakness in my right leg external rotators which drive my knee out to the side. With my knees driven out to the side I can actually feel my lumber curvature stay the same through the whole squat, no butt wink. My sister had an olympic bar from her husband and they gave it to me so I practiced front squats and back squats as well as thrusters with my vest on and actually felt really good this evening. I will definetly be ready for full WODs next week. For some reason I am getting eager to attempt "Filthy Fifty" Do not know why just always in the back of my head.
