Today was a choice between Cindy and Mary. My hands are a little raw, so I went with the 5 pull up version, Cindy: 23 rounds even.
Having done 150 pullups during yesterday's WoD (plus the 60 in the warm up), I underestimated how hard the push ups would be in this one. The pull ups were unbroken all rounds, and the squats were nearly unbroken, I just paused at the top for a one count during some of the sets. The pushups I broke up into 7 and 3 sets by round 10. This kept me moving and only at one rest. I should have had no problem with 10 pushups, but the previous day's Wod resulted in something different. I learned in Coronado that we don't live in a vacuum and real life means that we wont always have our best performance. I probably could have gotten to 25 rounds if I hadn't needed to break up the pushups, but I am still happy with the 2 1/3 rounds of improvement from my previous PR of 20 2/3. I was completely gassed by the end and it was a good challenge for me.
BTW, my friend got 17 1/3 rounds with the gravity assist machine. A good number for only his second WoD. He just needs to get his Kip on so he can gett pullups in without the machine.

Still can't figure out how to edit, but it was 150 PUSH UPS yesterday, not pull ups, that affected cindy today.
