Today was my first trip to an affiliate: Crossfit coronado. It wasn't the life-altering experience Jason had, but still a good time. I was there for a while before anyone besides the trainer said hi, and they weren't real supportive of each other as they finished the WoDs, but it was still pretty cool to use bumpers, and be in a setting where the intensity and exercises are the norm

12 thrusters 95 lbs. (Actually 94 with the kg plates.)
12:40. The thrusters were tough after wallball, but the burpees weren't to hard. I was the only one of my class of about 12 to use the prescribed weight and I ended up doing it the fastes by about 1:30. I was hoping for a little tougher Wod and I didn't expect to be the fastest in the group. I will try to make it to Invictus soon, which is only about 5 minutes and a ferry ride farther away. Hopefully I can get aubri to the gym too. There is a 9am class that is moms and kids playing off to the side. That may be more friendly to the wife. so we'll see.
