I didn't want to do strength only, since I am supplementing strength on many other days, so i did a WoD I found on another site (cannot remember where).

Well...
the gym was crazy busy and I had to pause once or twice to allow for the lady doing walking lunges behind me to pass without hitting her in the head with a snatch. Then, on the first run, I hit the little magnet off the t-mill and couldn't get it started again. I kept the metcon going, but only got in 45 seconds for the first run. The total elapsed time was about the same, but not a full run.
Aside from that, this WoD sucked. I was able to do all pushups unbroken, but the 2 bar exercises were killers. I couldn't hit a rhythm with the OHS. I have done 20 reps consecutive with 95 pounds before, but had to break this up into 3 and 4 sets on each round. then the SDHP right after killed my back. the OHS were off balance, so I overcompensated with my back. It was hard to keep good form with the SDHP as a result. When I got to the run, I was totally gassed. I did round one at 8.5, two at 8.5 and 3 at 7.5, mostly because I was worried i would fall off the t-mill.
I need to work on OHS more (as with all overhead lifts). My grip kept slipping, making the static UE hold harder as time passed. But any WoD that includes a goat is a good one. I can count on progress being made for next time.
