So... Two weeks without a deadlift is a BAD thing for me. Before the break, I got 375x3, then 275 @ 15,12(8,4) and 9 (6,3) and a 1RM at 400. Today, I struggled to get 365 x3, failed at 375 and failed again at 365. It got in my head and just felt too heavy. My back was round as a basketball and I couldn't get a grip. I tried the hook grip and it didn't seem any better, just hurt more. After I failed with only 1 rep at 375 and 365, I finished by turning it into 7x1 at ~90% of my 1rm (400). I did 365 about 5-6 more times to finish out. Then I did the protocol at 275 at 12,9,6, unbroken. I went with less reps because I wanted unbroken and I wanted to maintain my back. The feel got better as the workout went on, but I definitely need to get back into a groove with it. I may need to keep up with these lifts on a regular basis even after Im done with CFSB. I did a little Hand stand work as a finisher and got a 30 sec hold in the better position with improving balance. The reps of HSPU still get me off balance, but they will come along soon.
