Today was the progression through SP, PP and PJ.
In the past I have done nearly equal weight with all 3, but today was a little different.
SP 5x1 155,165,175,185(f),185(f) 180(f) - should have tried 180 first but 175 felt so easy
PP 5x3 135,155,175,180,185 (I think) I forget my numbers exactly, but this seems pretty close. I'll update it when I see the blog post with the pic of the whiteboard.
PJ 5x5 135,155,155,135 - My PJ sucks and I have relied on muscling it up too many times. Peter, and one of their big dawgs, gave me some pointers on a wider grip, forward trunk lean in the landing, and dropping lower. I kept it light to work on form and even backed down to 135 to feel it right. It got closer, but more work is needed.
interestingly, we started with a 200m warm-up run, then a sprint race at 200m. I really surprised myself at the speed I had in the middle of the sprint. I let up a little too much at the end instead of pushing 100% at the end. I came in second among 4 or 5 other guys who are pretty good athletes. The guy that came in first just barely beat me out at the end, but I got the impression he could have smoked me if it wasn't 6am and he had really tried. Can't get too proud though, I'm sure I'll suck at something soon.
