Wasn't Fast in the Middle

Today was thrusters 7x1. We started by pulling from the floor for all reps. I started with cleans to thrusters, but at 195 changed to a power clean, then thruster. It started to feel heavy too early, at about 195. I got up 205 with some struggle, but made it. Then I missed 215 2x. I was so close, but I could tell I didn't have the hip drive at the top and it turned into a shoulder press. I can't press 215. I then backed off to 205. It all had to do with form, as I got stuck a bit with no speed in the transition. I also think that the bars at Lifetime may have been a bit light. My home bar is 37 lbs, so I wonder if the bars at lifetime are too light. I have gotten more DL and jerk, but the bars at Fury feel different. It may be that they are just better, more solid bars.

I planned to finish with 21-15-9 of 115 pound thrusters, but Peter had a finisher wod for us that I opted for instead (need to play well with others)
5 rds
5 thrusters 135 lbs
5 SDHP 135lbs
4:58
this was heavy, but I kept moving. I finished 3 rds in 2 minutes, but had to struggle to keep breathing as it got heavy fast. I may try the 21-15-9 tonight if I have it in me. My shoulders are a bit 'loose' feeling from muscle ups, then thrusters. I may use 95 lbs to simulate a true fran experience.
