Goal Ammended

I made the 21 HSPU in 90 sedonds during the 21-3 HSPU and pullup wod, but I sucked it up during diane today. I took 7 minutes off my previous time (a 16 min Diane cannot be called a PR), but I still needed over 2 minutes for my first set of HSPU. I'm not sure if it was just an off day or what, but the DL were unbroken, so that shouldn't have slowed me down too much. I suppose I should be happy that I did as Rx and in less than 16 minutes, but it was still rough. I finished in 9:46. I wanted 7 minutes, but I guess I still need to work on HSPU. I will keep them in my weekly night routine for a while. My ammended goal is 90 seconds for the 21 HSPU in Diane. If I can get that, then the time should go down drastically. When I struggle with HSPU, the wheels fall off fast and the round of 15 sucks big time.

I also made up the Sunday WoD of
3 rds,
5 rope climbs
21 dips
50 squats
This was a mental challenge, as I am still getting comfortable with getting back on the rope before being fully rested. When you fail on a clean, you just drop the weight. When you fail on a climb, you drop 13 feet. I did it in 15:14, which was one of the top times, but still slower than I wanted. I was hoping for 12 minutes or so. I am getting better at climbs and learning strategy. For example, Jump high on the first grab and reach up high each time and I don't have to do a 4th pull. the dips were seriously affected by the HSPU, since I only waited about 15 minutes between wods, so they were much more fractured than normal. On elizabeth I did 21 unbroken and I needed 3-4 sets on 21 today. The 5 climbs didn't help either. Air squats are air squats. Mentally challenging, but always doable.

To avoid rambling, I'll cover the change in programming to come at Fury in a separate post.
