Well last week was a terrible week!! I was sick in the beginning of the week then tweaked my back going for a max rep deadlift and was out for the rest of the week. But now I am back. The first day always sucks and I chose to do the following
Seven rounds for time of:
95 pound Power snatch, 7 reps
95 pound Snatch balance, 7 reps
95 pound Overhead squat, 7 reps
I scaled to 65# and it took me 18:35. Very discouraging,however, not a lift that I work on very often so I was OK with it. As I returned home from work I decided I needed to do something else to redeem the long WOD from the am. I did a 1600M TT and clocked in at 6:22. I was pleasantly pleased. At the 800 mark I was under 3min (do not remember exact as it was a quick glance at the watch) I do not know for how long I could keep that pace but if I did that would be around 19min 5K.Tomorrow I am going to attempt DT not sure what weight I will us as my back is still sore and I do not want to aggrevate it any more than I have to. We will see.
