Today was a simple 3-3-3-3-3 of front squats. This serves as a mental rest day because it doesn't require the mental stamina needed to keep pushing in middle of a heavy metcon. Still, it does take focus to maintain form and intensity during the lift. I haven't done this set scheme for front squats, so I warmed up then did the following numbers. 185, 205, 225, 245, 255. I may have been able to get a little more, but I am still trying to get comfortable with the movement and I wanted to get all reps in today without a fail. I'm working on consistency before intensity on this one, just like the overhead squats.
