This is my first time totally as Rx and 3 minutes under my fastest scaled time. I was shooting for 25 minutes and I hit it pretty much. I smoked several of the elements (pullups and lunge steps) but Ihad 3 elements go longer than 2 minutes: K2E, wallball, and burpees. I knew these would be my hang up, but man the burpees were brutal. I should have just kept moving and broken things up less, but I am overall very happy with my improvement. I read an interesting article in the Journal about 'fairness' and crossfit under the discussion of the butterfly kip. basically it said that very few will be good at all 10 elements and only a slightly larger margin are good at 5/10 elements. The heavier athlete won't be as good at the body weight movements and the lighter athlete won't be as good at the strength movements (unless you are speal or OPT). I am not going to become content with Jason beating my times ever, but I am more realistic about my chances on WoDs like Angie and Michael. I just need to make up for it on CFT and grace.
