First, Yesterday I was still pseudo resting, so I only did the strength bias protocols while teaching the Dead lift to my wife. I did a front squat for a 5RM and back squat for a 1 set max rep. I got little greedy with the numbers today and went too high too soon. Last time I did 245x5 for FS, so today I did 235, 245, 265 (fail at 3 reps), 255(fail at 4 reps). I could have gotten 255 if I hadn't blown my wad at too high a weight, but it was still a good strength workout. I then did backsquat at 245x15. last time was 225x20.
Aubri did great with Deadlifts. It is good for me to work on coaching and get used to teaching someone else to do these lifts. She is a quick learner, which definitely helps. Rather than working on a 1RM, we worked on form and 5 rep sets. She got up to 105 with good form and a foundation for working up higher next time.
