Nancy, At Home

Today was a beutiful morning to WoD at home. I warmed up inside, to stay a little cooler, then went to set up in the garage for Nancy. It was probably 80 with the sun not yet fully up. It was perfect temperature and conditions.
5 rds
400m run
15 OHS @ 95lbs
17:46 splits: 2:22, 3:26, 3:38, 4:12, 4:06
My runs were all sub 2 min, but man they were hard after the first round. Rd 1 OHS were unbroken and 2-4 were in 2 sets with only set 5 in 3 sets. Im pretty sure my shoulders were too far back, but I was focused on keeping my grip as my right hand kept sliding out as I came out of the bottom each rep. I taped my left hand to protect the healing tear, and that hand stayed put. Next time I'll tape both hands for an OHS wod. I beat my last time by about 1:30. That is a 16% improvement. This was done on the road and not a t-mill, but I see that as harder, because the t-mill can be set at a speed and you have to keep up. On the road, it is up to you to keep your own speed up and it is hard, at times, to make yourself run fast. Next time, My runs need to all be sub 1:50 and 2-3 sets unbroken OHS.
