Pseudo progress

With the severely torn hand from Sunday's WoD, I am having to avoid any pulling motions. I have done a 1rm thruster before, but I haven't done SP for a week or BS for a while, so:
3x3 SP: 135, 145, 150 (fail at rep 2) I started to get a little light headed at the start of rep 3 so I stopped. My upper body is toast from the 45lb bumper wod and the pullups and dips. I definitely felt taxed on this one.
3x3 BS 315, 335, 345. A new PR by 20 lbs but I haven't done this in a while, so no surprise the increase is >5lbs. I missed the depth on the second set on rep 1 so I did 4 reps and hit full depth on all sets at 345. This felt much better than I expected. I tried the low bar position and my arms just feel pinned and unable to support the weight at 225. I can't imagine 345 on my arms like that. It may mean practice with a lighter weight, but that means more time on back squat, that is already a pretty good strength of mine. Maybe not necessary.

I ended with 100 double unders in 2:04. Not a world record, but I really got a rhythm and more comfortable with a more relaxed stance. I wish the handles were longer on my rope because I only use the first 2 fingers and thumb gripped on the end of the handle to get a good whip. That means it slips out of my hands after about 30 reps. A good OT would make longer handles out of splinting material, we'll see.
