Not Sure it Counts

I worked aubri through the progression of shoulder press, push press and push jerk tonight. She put in an awesome effort with 75, 85 and 80 pound maxes for each lift. A good effort.

While she warmed up, I worked on my snatch. it felt pretty god and I landed 135 2 separate times, but I got it on video to see what I looked like from a trainer's perspective: U-G-L-Y. All was fine until I caught it somewhere behind my head. I need to work on a tighter transition from shrug to overhead. Otherwise it felt good.



Unfortunately, that left very little time for me to do the football wod with running, deadlifts, ball slams and more running. in order to get something in I squeezed in Grace. I wasn't mentally psyched up for it and that probably affected my focus a bit. I got it in an adecent time: 4:04, but I was not focusing on good form. As a result, i saw on the video Aubri took of the first 10 reps that some reps weren't fully locked out overhead. It wouldn't have added but 10 seconds to my total time, but I would have felt a lot better about the performance. The bumpers were awesome, but I know I can get it sub 3 and work on better form next time.
