Recognizable

We were at the mall the other day and I had on my Independence Day CrossFit shirt on, we were walking back to the car and I saw this guy walking right towards me, he stopped in front of me and said, "Where do you CrossFit?" We had a small conversation as my kids were tired and wanted to go home, it turns out he was the owner of Competitive Fitness in Chandler, which is a CrossFit box. It got me thinking alot about wanting to open my own box in Laveen. It is something that I would love to do. I can not do anything until I go to the Level 1 cert in Flag, but I am seriously concidering by the beginning of next year looking into training people out of my garage and see where it takes me. What do you think?? Crazy???

"DT"
Five rounds for time of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps
22:21
This was done Thursday at Josh's house as he has bumpers and boy was it great being able to let the bar go from overhead instead of wasting so much energy lowering it to the ground. The first 2 rounds I used 145 and the last 3 was 135. Next time all rounds with 145.

Friday
"Lynne"
Five rounds for max reps of
Body weight bench press
Pull-ups
I crushed my previous scores on this WOD.
11/30, 11/25, 11/25, 10/25, 10/25=53/130
Very uneven and you can see what I need to work on. I was determined to hold my first round numbers for as long as I could, when I dropped in numbers I told myself to not drop again and that is what I did

working out of your garage seems to be the normal start-up olan for many boxes. It may be a good way to guage success without jumping in with both feet.

Thats not crazy! Holly's letting me work on getting stuff for my garage gym now. not to train people but so I can train the way I want to. tell you what, you start training out of your garage and I'll come over for a few lessons.
