Today I made up a WOD I missed from a couple of cycles ago
Run 400 meters
25 Burpees
24:32
I must say I did not stop but my pace sure did slow from the first rounds. I always feel I could have done better but I am content with this time for now. I feel the need to push myself harder each wod but I do not want to push to hard to early in the WOD and then have nothing at the end. I need to find a happy medium.
Melissa did a scaled version of this yesterday
3 rounds for time of:
Run 200 meters
12 Burpees
11:59
I was very proud of her, she had good form with the burpees and kept the mechanics the same throughout the WOD, we talked it over at the end and figured she could have run the 200 faster to lower her time, in due time it is only her 3-4 WOD and she needs some time to figure the intensity part out.
The fun thing about doing WODs at home is that your children also want to "workout" After Melissa was finished Emma asks if she can do the same "workout" that Melissa just did. I was amazed that she ran the whole 200meters without stopping 3x. Here is a video of her doing her Burpees.
