Handstand push-ups are "nose to floor" and pull-ups are "strict" or non-kipping.
I did strict chin ups and HSPU with head to floor. Nose to floor is too much neck extension and any deeper on paralletes is not going to happen yet.

This was 84 reps of each exercise. the pullups weren't that tough, just paced well to not burn out. The HSPU went amazing well. I didn't get to singles until the end of the round of 15. I started every set with a group of 3 or more until the round of 6, and I was able to keep good form until the last round or two when I started to come away from the wall too much.
84 HSPU!! that is huge for me. I know I need to get this one in faster and with depth on paralletes, but I was thrilled to not have to scale this one to an abmat. HSPU are no longer a goat of mine. They are tough, and not a strength, but if I can do 84 in one wod, I am happy. I still need to work on them, but they have gotten a lot better.
