Day two of the new programming and we worked on some snatch progression first. THis is a BIG deficit for me, and it still shows. We did a 3 rep cycle of a muscle snatch, low hang snatch and full snatch (all to full squat) for 6 total cycles. I tried 135 initially, but went down to 115 for form work. This was tough and I am still trying to get active in the shoulders at the third pull. This took a while, then...
400m x6 in pairs with partner's run time as rest each cycle. I put up decent numbers, i think.

I might have gotten a tad faster if I truly sprinted the last 100m, but I am still learning to guage my staying power with these repeats when given short rest periods. I needed to work on my runs, and this was a good way to do it. The snatch was good practice, althoug progress is coming slowly. I'm not sure how to best log all of this stuff, now that we aren't on HQ anymore. Logsitall won't work great, so I may check out our link on Beyondthewhiteboard.
