Needs a lot more work

I am talking about my rowing stamina, boy does that suck
500 row
15-PP@115#
15-GHD
500 row
12-PP
12-GHD
500 row
9-PP
9-GHD
1308

Took me longer than I wanted, my goal was sub 10min, that got shot down quick on the second row. I need to find a good pace and where I like my damper setting, I have been playing around with it and I am not sure where I like it yet.

Push and Pull

Push Press
1/1/1/1/1/1/1
135-145-155-165-175-185-195 (failed all three attempts, it became a jerk)

Weighted Pullups
1/1/1/1/1/1/1
25-35-40-45-50-55
Could not get 60# up so I did 3sets of max rep deadhang pullups did all three sets at 7reps

Press 5/3/1
100x3
115x3
130x3
This movement is getting more difficult as the weight moves up. It was a stretch to get the 3rd rep on the last set, and had nothing left for an attempt at rep 4. I am also keeping my midline more stable with no extension faults.

Will I make it???

Two more days until December is over and I have achieved only 1/3 goals I made for myself. I am close to the handstand hold and need to be more aggresive with the power clean. Two days huh!! I can do it!!!

Snatch 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps
95-105-115-125-135-145-150(f)
I was excited that I was able to snatch alittle over my BW and I feel my form is getting better, definetly no great but better. I still raise my hips before my shoulders, which I would like to keep my hips and shouldes together. More snatch grip deadlifts

Tuesday 12-29-2009
Push Press 1-10-1-20-1-30
165-115-165-95-165-75
Awesome that I was able to push up 165x3 inbetween the other sets, in hindsight it felt as if I could have added 5# to each 1rep max attempt. I like this protocal and think I will be using it more often.

Not Thinking

Push Press 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps.
135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 190
This is actually the first time I have done a 1rep max for push press. I am very pleased with the number. When it came time to attempt 190 I feel I was thinking about the lift to much and I actually failed the first time at 190. I knew I could get it and walked away, casually talked to Tommy and just out of the blue walked over to the bar picked it up and push pressed 190. I am getting better at not over analyzing either the lift or the WOD, just get it done. Do not get me wrong I am still nervous and anxious, however, I am better at controlling that and not letting it get to me, I am more focused. Tommy was able to push out the same numbers.

Tomorrow is Karen with my goal being 8:00
